2023 Idaho Spring Guide
The snow has melted away and warmer days lie ahead. Spring is one of our favorite times of the year to enjoy the best Boise has to offer. The outdoor lifestyle is one of the many reasons our clients choose to relocate to Idaho and call it their forever home. Here are a few activities we suggest to take full advantage of the season:
Idaho Botanical Garden
The Idaho Botanical Garden is a lush 15-acre tapestry of dappled shade and vibrant splashes of color. A peaceful haven nestled in the Boise Foothills, located in the heart of Old Penitentiary Historic District.
Kirkham Hot Springs
Nestled on the South Fork of the Payette River below a highway campground, a staircase leads adventurers down to the geothermal soaking pools and small steaming waterfalls.
Jump Creek Falls
Jump Creek features a surprising waterfall and lush riparian community filled with waterbirch and red osier dogwood trees. Visitors can hike the easy 1/2 mile Jump Creek Falls Trail, walk to the Falls Overlook or picnic near the rock crevices and meandering stream. Swimmers can enjoy a refreshing dip at the base of the falls.
St. Chapelle Winery
Founded in 1975 Idaho, Ste. Chapelle is well known for producing outstanding wines from the Snake River Valley appellation. It has grown to become the largest winery in Idaho and a hometown favorite!
Boise Farmers Market
At the Boise Farmers Market you will find fresh local seasonal vegetables and fruit, many types of locally made breads, honey and jams, fresh-roasted coffee, and a delicious selection of ready-to-eat foods. Opening day is April 1st.
Treefort Music Festival
The Treefort Music Fest is a five-day, indie rock festival which is held at numerous venues throughout downtown Boise. It will be held from March 22nd to March 26th.
